For the last couple of weeks, for the first time ever, I've been noticing golden hairs in my canopy. My underside is darkdarkdark brown (hard to tell from photos because my canopy is much lighter) and without any color variation whatsoever. But now I'm finding golden hairs that glisten anytime I get into light. The only products I've been using that I didn't use before are coconut oil and jojoba oil. BUT these golden hairs aren't clumped together, and it's the entire length-- from root to tip. Any similar experiences?

I use both those oils with no color change whatsoever ~ but your hair may react differently. Sounds kind of pretty !

I've heard that coconut and cinnamon oil can lighten the hair.

My hair actually looks darker when it is saturated with oil, even if it's not in an overoiled state.

I noticed that coconut oil faded my veggie dye unnatural colours but has not affected box dye permanents.

I've read that castor oil can darken your lashes so I wonder if it has a similar effect on the hair on your head.
