View Full Version : Almost 3 years at LHC! (pic heavy!)

Hello beautiful people!

In July I will have been here 3 years. I'd like to show my progress, including my most recent big chop. I am starting over again!

Here are some pics of my hair back in midi-2008:

Here is how far I got late 2010/early 2011:

And, finally fed up with indigo not sticking to roots, decided to cut to chin length to A) satisfy months-long craving for short hair and B) give myself a fresh start to grow out my natural color.

Here is my hair as of today May 2011:

It's shortest in the back; this part will be a pain to grow out!

So here we grow again. I will be living in headbands and mini-claw-clips for a while. Just bought some Biotin and Silica supplements. Wish me luck!

You have really gorgeous thick hair! It looks great short and I look forward to seeing it long again. Happy growing!

Thank you! My mini goal is just long enough to be able to put up in a ponytail or peacock twist, so I can put it up and forget about it for months at a time (yay benign neglect!). Ultimate goal is tailbone length!

Good luck growing. I'm pretty much right there with you. Growing out virgin hair and growing to tailbone from a shorty cut :P

But you've done it before! Congrats :) Your hair is so shiny!

Congrats on making such a big leap by cutting ^_^ Its a hard choice to make, but your hair looks adorable! I'm sure it will be a ponytail in no time

In my honest opinion you look really...... cute with short hair. I used to have my hair chin length too and I loved it!! Now it reaches BSL and my final goal is 36". Happy growing!!
