Curious about Sesame Oil

I was wondering what benefits sesame oil provides for one's hair.

No, I'm not an oil newbie. I oil daily, normally with various formulations of coconut oil. (I've been on a Parachute kick lately. :) ) I also use sesame and castor oil, and I happened to break from coconut oil today and used some Bhringraj oil. It got me curious about what sesame oil does for my hair. I know coconut is known for it's ability to penetrate the hair, but what about sesame oil? Does it simply seal in moisture or what?

I've gotten away from it in favor of camellia at the moment, but I like sesame oil. For me, it absorbs much better into my hair than coconut, and adds more slip. My hair seems to drink it, and what looks too heavy at first generally looked good after a day or two.
