i dyed my hair(pics) & im HAPPY!

:Dyup, its true i died my hair black! (well its semi perminant dye and my hair never hold boxed dye for long it washes out) and im so happy
i was going to dye it red but i would rather have hennaed it. besides, i missed my black hair..i didnt wana henndigo it. although i do love black im not ready for a permanint commitment to it hehe. tell me what you think! :)

Note: this isnt my natural texture is braidwaves that fell flat kind of sort of haha i sleep with my hair in braids it looks different every day naturally my hair is straight

Oh WOW! Did you use a 2-step process!? You got GREAT results! ETA: Sorry, just read you used a semi-permanent color. It's very intense, I thought it was a 2-step henndigo :).

hmmm did u mean a 2 step process as oppossed to foam? haha sorry im not sure what you mean . i used box dye that you pour and shake your self so yes i think i used a 2 step process :)

Wow, I wish my hair looked as good and shiny! Love the dark hair! It doesn't seem that your natural is too far off from this color, though, so that's always a good thing! It'll fade into it nicely.

Oh, so pretty. Now I want to temporary-dye my hair . . . dark brown because black would be too intense on me. :)

I'm a bit afraid of damaging my hair even with temporary though. Is temporary drying/damaging?

yes i know! black is such a pain . but i debated it for a good month and settled for semi permanant. black never holds in my hair if it isnt perminanti have done it many times befor. my poor hair haha. besides this dye job i baby it as much as possable. i owe it to my hair after years of destroying it! haha thank you you all are so nice and have beautiful hair can i call my hair waist length yet?

yes im guessing it is ALL dyes can be damaging /drying . if you want to do it go for it! if your hair is in good enough condition ii reccomend it dark hair is lovely anf fun! IM HAPPY IF YOU DO PLEASE POST PICS! my hair doesnt feel dry or damaged. then again i havent died it in a year and babied it. although years ago i temp died it numerous times and my hair was unhappy

I was referring to RavennaNight's 2-Step Henndigo Process (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/blog.php?b=71067) to get very dark to black henndigo results. I see that you are not looking for something that permanent at this point, so yah good idea with the semi-permanent color. It looks great!
