I've heard nothing but great things about this product, but I still hesitate to try it because of the price and such. I usually make my own products for that reason.....Can anyone give me more info and their opinion on this product.
My main questions are.....
What are the ingredients?
What is the consistency? (I hear it's more like a goo)
Is it worth the money?
Is it better than any other homemade or all natural gel such as Flaxseed and so on....
If there is a gel you think is better, what is it?
Thank you :)

I am pretty sure the ingredients list is available online. Yes, it is a bit like goo. There is also a learning curve for using it. It's worth the money for a lot of people, but not everyone. I really like it on my hair, but right now when money is tight, I am not willing to spend $50 on one product. I don't use any homemade products. It isn't a gel exactly. Its more of a curl cream with a gel-like consistency. Personally, I have never used a better product.

KCCC is the best gel I've ever used, hands down. It doesn't stop me from buying other things, and using my homemade flaxseed gel, which is pretty darn good, too, but I always come back to this. It virtually knocks out frizz, holds and defines smoothly-living in such a humid, high dew point area, this is nothing short of amazing for me...At StocknGo (http://www.stockngo.com/hair/ethnic-hair-care/styling-products/kinky-curly-curl-custard-gel-8-oz.html) you can get an 8oz size for $13.99, then get 20% off if you register with them and there's a free shipping code-not sure if there's a minimum purchase required. I ordered 4 to stock up last time. It was much cheaper than getting the 16oz size at Whole Foods or anywhere else at that time. I also prefer the smaller size jar- much easier to use and store...:)
