I wanted your wise advice on this product because Im trying to regrowth my hairline and general thin hair, so have anyone used this? Did you get ny results? Did you get it online?

Am also thinking about Emu oil, Castor oil at the same time I used this....

I really wants this to work! :magic:

I don't know if it is the same thing but I have been using women's generic Rogaine (minoxidil) for 5 months and I now have a ton of new hairs growing on my hairline. I apply it every night before bed.

The only thing Nioxin Follicle Booster did for me is make me start shedding a lot .

No, nioxin is a line of shampoo/conditioner/treatment that does not contain any minoxodil, so in theory, really doesn't do much for your hair...

My friend works with a physician in a neighboring big city who is an MD and a hair loss specialist, she said he recommends the Nioxin products to everyone in his practice. I just started system 3 and the FB. I love the ingredients in the products, I think we should take care of our scalps just as well as we do our faces! The reviews on MUA are very positive in general (I trust them much more than Amazon etc)

My contact lens perscription must need to be stronger- I thought the thread title said "Dioxin". I was about to chime in with "nooo! don't put dioxin in your hair!" I can't speak to the nioxin but I can say that castor oil worked wonders to thicken up my hair and even out some gaps in my hairline.

Sophie, I wanted to mention also that I've heard that the Scalp Treatment and the Hair Booster (formerly called Follicle Boster) are the two stars of this line. The Hair Booster has antioxidants etc and a peptide (Hexapeptide 11) that in studies builds collagen and blocks DHT. On the Nioxin Faqs, it says the order should be (If you are using the whole system):

• Cleanser
• Scalp Therapy, towel dry hair
• Follicle Booster® and lastly
• Scalp Treatment

I'm using all of them including the vitamins, , I bought big sizes from Ebay to save money. So I'll update if I have any results! But, I'm also using Phyto ampules weekly and occasional nizoral powder, and an essential oil treatment, so if will be difficult to truly know what helped :)
