My thought on bangs is that you can afford to abuse them because they actually get cut on a regular basis, so the damage doesn't really have time to show.
Welcome to LHC!

You've tried out some awesome styles! Is the pink and black stripe an extension or your actual hair? All the different styles you've had look good on you.
Good luck with the growing out:)

I like all those hair styles, but the long and curly is beautiful and my dream hair! So gorgeous, and the chocolate brown color is absolutely lovely!

Wow. Mine used to be fire engine red and later orange. I shaved it all off so I could grow it out. There have been some significant trims in the years between, so mine isn't all that long (comparatively). You will have really long hair if you keep taking good care of it!

Thank you much! the very first pic is my completely natural hair... The problem was I treated it really bad.... I used really harsh shampoo, barely ever used conditioner, and brushed it while wet with cheap, snaggly brushes... Ive changed a lot these last few months and its growing like crazy! I had never oiled my hair before or even heard of that until I found this site! and oiling makes a huge difference for curlies.

Your hair looked like it was sad in some of those pictures but the thing I'm so jealous of is that it is still so big and plentiful. Good luck growing it out! I'm looking forward to seeing pics of your progress :-)
