Thread feeds?

Hey, still new here haha, but I was wondering: On some forums I've been a part of, there is a panel you can go to to view all the threads you have commented in and also shows whether there were any new posts made. It's a great way to keep track with discussions you're in incase someone replies to one of your posts.

Is this what the subscribe option is? Is there some setting I can make to auto-subscribe to every thread I post in? Thanks!

Yes, this is the subscribe option. You can auto subscribe by going to your User CP-->Edit Options then scrolling down to "Default Thread Subscription Mode." Just change the option to "no email notification" for subscribing without getting emails or whichever email notification method you prefer for emails. :)
