Henna/indigo to just henna

Hi all
I have done just henna three times and moved to henna and indigo as i like my hair super dark
It is now black..but outside it has some red...as i do one step process so its not totally black
When i hendigo my skalp gets real itchy so i would love to do it every other time
I am thinking of doing just henna this time and next the hendigo
Has anyone done this ???and what was your color result?

I used to hendigo for many months and then switched to just henna only, as my hair was almost black. It did not really change the colour that much other than I had a lovely red glow in the sun. I did several just henna on my length and only applied hendigo to my roots.

Hey there,
I also used henna first (for 1 year) then did indigo---made my hair a nice redish-brown--I like the color now and want to remain this color. The indigo really iches!!! Will buxus be less ichey???
