I've seen some very interesting sticks and hair pins but a mouse and trap (http://www.etsy.com/listing/42759194/mouse-trap-hair-clips-bobby-pins?ref=sr_gallery_1&ga_search_query=hair+stick&ga_order=price_asc&ga_noautofacet=1&ga_page=32&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_facet=handmade%2Faccessories)? apparently so (not real of course). I've seen arrows, axes, swords and drop spindles. So I issue you lovely LHCers with a challenge show me your (or a sellers) weird and wonderful hair toys.

P.S. I hope this thread is in an ok place for it but mods feel free to move it.

the only one i've made out of household stuff so far is the one in the pictures, made of a pair of earrings (i made two of them) and a pair of double pointed knitting needles lol

@Signe, Yes it is :) My parents are getting into breeders and this beauty will be ready in another year or two, i was just handling him as usual and he decided to explore my head, then the silly guy wrapped himself around my bun in the best way, i'm just glad my brother was able to snap a picture of it. He was actually stuck in my hair for a while because he weaved himself through parts (hence the scalp cleavage from tension)

@kwaniesiam, thank you :) he's gonna make some really pretty babies too if you ever become interested in purchasing a ball python ;)

I would so want a snake for a pet, and yours are so gorgeous, but unfortunately owning reptiles is forbidden by Norwegian law. :( I hope they change those laws soon.

First I was like, "Whoa! That is one realistic snake hairtoy." And then i was like, "Doh, I think I need more coffee."

You HAD to post that, right? Because I now have to be the owner of said item.

Thanks!

Oh no Venefica, that's so unfortunate. Snake owning is so rewarding! They don't chew your shoes up like a dog will either ;). If they do ever change the law or if you do ever move, be sure to do EXTENSIVE research on snake ownership, particularly for the breed you are about to adopt. And if you ever want a deal on a ball python then look no further than Sweetestpoison :eyebrows:
