I haven't bought any scissors yet, but I'll like to know how to trim my own hair. Can someone please guide me into the right direction, I really need a trim bad. Thanks in advance :D.

Feye's self trim methods are listed in the Hair Styling section of the Articles. Go check it out and see which type of trim you want to do :)

But I have layers, I'm at flip-length. I need to cut more than the bottom. Thanks in advance :).

for layers people do a top of the head pony and trim the ends! easy peasy!

I use the pony tail method and just told a co-worker about it yesterday who (squee!) complimented my length and hemline! She said she'd been trying to get her stylist to cut her hair in my U shape and she couldn't do it. SO... she tried the pony tail method this morning before work and loved the results! I'm so happy I could help her thanks to this board!

It really is NICE to be in control!!
