Social Groups question

I was wondering if there is a way to get notified if there is a new post in a social group you belong to? I have looked everywhere I can think to look but haven't seen anything.

Not that I know of, but I'd like to see something like that too.

I don't think there is a way to get notifications on social groups, which is why the social groups don't work well.

If you can subscribe to a thread and get notifications I would think that there would be a way to subscribe to a group and get them too...........how about it mods: any chance????????
