3 years since bald (pics)

Here are my progress pics of my three years since I shaved my head (and almost 2 years since I joined LHC). I am currently at 71 cm = 28 inches. Most of this time was totally without trims, but I did a 2cm trim in March and another in June. My hair grows an average of 1.1cm a month, which is just under half an inch. I'm pretty happy with my progress. Thanks LHC!

I have been here since September 2006 and my hair has only changed by a few inches as I have been trimming damage off! :rolleyes:

Wow, great job! It's been nearly 3 years since I was bald too.. But a year ago I cut a pixie again (to get rid of a stupic color mistake) and so I'm far behind you :)

Very nice. Seeing the pictures is great assurance that if I'm patient my hair will eventually 'get there' as well. My growth rate is similar to yours, just barely 1/2" a month. Average I know . . . but sometimes it feels like it takes forever to see a change.

I'm in somewhat of a similar position, because I am growing our hair dye. Therefore I'm pretty much 'starting fresh', but I'm keeping the hair I've got hanging around just in case I need to style it or something. I would LOVE to shave my head, but I'm a high school senior and I don't think that would go over well, with judgemental classmates, prom photos, etc.

It's amazing to see what wonderful progress one can make in there years! I'm sure your hair is even longer now, because this thread was posted 3 years ago.

AWESOME growth! I shaved my head about a year and a half ago so I'm very excited to see these progress pics. I think it's awesome to watch hair grow out from absolute scratch. Was it a pain growing out all inevitable layers?
