]Hi guys
Pre LHC I always considered myself to have frizzy, bushy, coarse, awkward hair which has resulted in 30 years of excessive styling (perming, straightening, bleaching colouring etc etc etc).

This is what my hair looked like last year, simply washed and air dried. Vey frizzy, unruly and neither straight nor curly. You can see lots of breakage.

Here's my hair today! CO washed and air dried. Its curly/wavy (who would of thought it!) I think it's going to be really nice when it gets longer if I keep it healthy :)

I finally like my hair.

CO washing
Leave in conditioner
NO sulphates
Oils as a prewash
Foxs shea butter on damp end
Alcohol free Gel!

Your hair is lovely! Your curls are so defined and pretty.:) I think your hair will look amazing long. I'm dealing with fuzzy and frizzy hair and I might have to use some of you techniques and see if they work on my hair. ;)

Thank you for your comments. I feel I've turned an important corner. I'm past the awkward "shall I cut" stage and I'm feeling much more comfortable to just let it do its own thing and grow!

PS I sold my GHD straightener! Spent the money on lots of hair goodies!

I think it looks wonderful in both pictures! ;) I can definatly tell it is less frizzy and better defined in the second one though.

It's amazing sometimes how much of a difference simply coming to terms with one's own hairtype makes.
