This is a amusing story that happend to me last night. Once Upon a Time.. :D
I was making some honeylightening water (Whateever you want to call it). I left it it my bathroom, to go get my painbrush, and a swimcap. When I returned, supplies in hand, there stood my mother, fresh from a day shift in the hospital as a nurse. She had woke up to brush her teeth. She was holding my bowl of water and yelling, 'I've had ENOUGH!! I've put up with SO many things! Coconut oil in your hair, EVOO in your hair, VINIGAR IN YOUR HAIR!!' She took a breath. 'But I will NOT tolerate you puting PEE IN YOUR HAIR!!'.

The persecution I recive for helping my hair. :D

Oh dear god, you do not know how hard i just laughed! Thank you for cheering me up! I have a feeling im going to get to that exact point with my father very soon.
My friends completely do not understand yet why in the world i do some of these things.
But in the end, if it's good, it's good right?

Gotta say, I wondered about pee. I mean, I read in The Mammoth Hunters that you could let urine sit out for a couple of days and then use it to bleach leather and various materials. And apparently, there's already been a thread on here about pee in the hair!!

I considered it when honey lightening made no difference in my hair. But I've decided to go with the decidedly more pleasant route of sitting in the sun with lemon juice. :D

Rofl, she probably thinks you are getting all these hair tips from a bunch of nuts.......I am afraid she would be right though.

Pee may be taking things a bit too far though. At least I hope.

That made me laugh so hard. Then my husband wanted to know what I was laughing at so I read him your story. He laughed too and said he feels your Mom's pain. :rollin:

I gather she didn't bother to smell it...? Because I'd worry even more if my daughter's pee smelled of honey!

I'm slightly worried a nurse does not know the difference between honey and urine ... :p
