Does a bleach like Clairol Born Blonde Ultra Blue really help reduce after bleaching brassiness, or does it make no difference that it supposedly has blue tones in it? Bleaching this weekend to get lighter / less orange and I need to decide between Born Blonde normal and Ultra Blue.
Thanks for any input!

A blue bleach definitely helps with brass, but depending on the color you start with and how much blonding you are looking for, it has to stay on until your hair reaches the pale yellow stage for optimum blonde results.

We are firmly at orange right now. . . I've been babying my hair for 4 months after getting it to this stage. . . and I can't take it anymore. I have to get it legitimately blonde, or dye it something dark. No more clown hair.
