I think I might go for terminal

I've been giving a lot of though to how long I want to grow my hair lately, and my original goal was to grow to somewhere in the 40" range. But the more and more I think about it, the more I want to just let it grow to terminal length.

The longer my hair gets the more and more I like it and how it looks on me, and I figure I've seen what I look like with as little hair as possible, so why not see what I look like with my hair as long as it will go? Besides, what's more metal than super long hair? :D :rockerdud

I've always wanted really long hair ever since I can remember, and even though my hair is mid-back length it still feels like it's way too short. This is the first time I've ever grown my hair longer than my chin, and in hindsight now I'm kicking myself for not growing it sooner and cutting it in high school when it started getting long the first time around. I'm curious to see what it's like to have hair past my waist, hips, and maybe even knees, so I may as well give it a shot in case I start balding when I get older. :p

So yeah, I think I'm going to do it, or at least give it my best try. I'm going for terminal length!

You'll likely have quite a few years of growth ahead of you. The best thing to do is not to think about what one's hair length should be... eventually, your hair will have the answer. :)

I agree Naluin, I think long hair suits me too. And yeah, it's been growing at least a half inch per month, so it probably is longer than you remember. I'm hoping to be at waist within the year.

And yes, it is extremely metal, hahaha. I was just at an iron maiden concert and everyone, male and female, had at least bsl. Everyone here on the board probably would have died, we're talking thousands of people here. I felt like I was at the long hair emporium. And obviously, I fit in myself, hahaha. Good times.

My length goal has changed too, I think I'm trying for terminal too. Originally I was shooting for fingertip length or there about. It will be fun to see how long it will get, and if I can take care of it too.

That is graet news, ShadowWalker, that you are planning to grow to terminal. I know that with your thick and even ends, your terminal length should be very long! I would like to grow my hair as long as possible as well, but at nearly 55 years of age, I don't know how long I can grow it.

Heya lora410, good seeing you! I'm only a couple inches shy of where your goal is, and in all honesty it's not as much work as I thought it would be. Since I hit shoulder length it's only gotten easier to take care of, but I'm sure at some point that's going to change. :p
