I have been working on my posture too, since my mum told me I am round shouldered (thanks mum!)

Thanks for the compliments! What I'm trying to show is that if I slouch, I'm still not even at BSL, but if I stand up straight I'm past it. Bad posture = shorter-looking hair. (But I agree, it's not just my hair that looks better standing up straight)

That is one color I've NEVER been able to achieve (artificially), but had for just a brief time in my teenage years while my body was transitioning from making blonde hair to making vole colored hair. :p

My friend used to call it "sunset on the horizon."

Wow, thanks! Bad news though: I'm really not sure if that's what my hair really looks like in real life. Between the flash photography and the colour/contrast autocorrect function, I think it's emphasized the red tones a bit more than are really there. In my mental image of myself, my hair is a neutral brown somewhere between chocolate and coffee. Who knows what's real.

FWIW, the red tones probably come from the henna in the Lush Caca Brun and Noir that I use from time to time.

And also: the haircolour in your avatar - a shiny almost-black but softened by being a bit brown - is what I really want. Wanna trade?

Your hair looks magnificent! I hope my hair will look as beautiful as that someday. Though, when I do grow what little virgin hair I have out to that length, the color will be much less fun and vivid than that (darn you, ashy light brown natural color).

As for posture, the only time I notice how bad my posture is happens to be when I'm driving. I have my seat set so that I have to have good posture in order to be comfortable in the seat, but.. it's always so hard to stick with it.

I'll have to stand up straight when I take a picture of my length later!

Very true. Yet, on the other hand, it is hard to sit on a chair or carseat with a headrest when you've got a bun on and thus the posture worsens. :mad:

Haha, that's a good way of reminding oneself to stand/sit straight at all times :D
Also, if you have an updo, good posture makes your neck appear longer and slimmer ;)
