What in the world do these mean:

CONES?
CO's?

and all other acronyms that I'm coming across on this forum? :confused:

I want to learn. Can there be a sticky for acronyms?

Not sure without the context, but I'd guess that it was a typo for APL, meaning Arm-Pit Length. Just a guess, but seeing as how "L" and "O" are right near each other, it seems plausible.

Thanks Chloe, I'm glad I'm not the only one! It's been bugging me for a while- I keep thinking it will become obvious, but it doesn't. :p

What was the context? APL means Arm Pit Length, maybe it was a typo?

ETA Whoops, looks like doodlesmart beat me to it!
