Via Natural Hair Dye.... Damaging ??

Hi all :D I wanted to ask your opinions about "Via natural semi permanent hair color " I wanted to use manic panic or something similar but I can't find just a simple dark brown. Only the fun type colors..Then I came across Via hair dyes.

It says no ammonia , alcohol or peroxide. so I was thinking it wouldn't be damaging but wanted some opinions from you all.

It's only semi permanent so even if I hate the color it wont last too long. But I want to make sure that it wont be (too) damaging before I use it.

If it has no developer (ammonia, peroxide) then it won't damage your hair. It is a semi so it only coats your hair shaft, it does not lift your cuticle and deposit color. It will probably wash out extremely quickly, six to 8 shampoos they usually say but some people notice washout immediately. It certainly won't hurt to try it !

well I did it :)

This was my first time dying my hair at home with semi permanent dye and it turned out OK. It gave pretty good coverage but next time I may try a darker color and let it sit a bit longer. But it worked pretty well so I'm happy. :D

Good to know, thanks for sharing ! Please let me mow how long it takes to fully wash out, I am curious :)
