Hellooo,
Just wondering if the curlies and whurlies on here could offer some advice for DBF's hair. Being a 1b I'm not really sure what would be best to advise him to do... He claims that when he last had long hair (shoulder+) it was practically in King Charles ringlets. :D
It's now getting past his collar and has been de-mulleted a couple of times so it almost all a similar length. He's about ... at a guess ... a ii-iii (can't tell really as it won't go in a ponytail yet) but very much an F. Currently, there's gentle waves beginning to show ... maybe 2b-ish. But if his hair hasn't changed in the last 10-ish years then there should be ringlets - either it isn't long enough to show them yet, or he's brushing them out.
He brushes (rather violently) a couple of times a day. I got him a nice Body Shop brush and binned his evil old bent-bristled plastic monstrosity.
He is very lazy in the shower. I recently persuaded him that shampoo alone was no longer working. So, he came home with Pantene S&C which is doing perfectly ok as far as slip, sleekness and shine ... but I wonder if it's contributing to the lack of curls.
He thinks my oil shampoo method is far too faffy. I think CO might be a viable option as far as lazyness goes but I'm not sure what would be a good (easy to find in UK, reasonably cheap) conditioner that wouldn't build up. Pantene conditioner is obviously not going to cut it!
Thanks for your advice!
