My hair went "thunk" today!

I'm at tailbone (finally) and I had my hair up in a braid, then coiled in a bun. I unpinned the bun and it slowly unwound itself about halfway, then fell, THUNK! the rest of the way. It felt like someone had pulled it!:cheese::cheese::cheese:

I think it finally qualifies as long in my book!

When I read the subject line, I did not anticipate this being a happy post. I'm glad I was wrong!! I know what you mean though, about length. My friends and family all roll their eyes when I refer to my hair as short, but I really think it is. So, from now on I will tell them I am waiting for the 'thunk' before I can call my hair long. LOL!

Reminds me of a comment somebody posted on one of CinnamonHairs tutorials. I think she flipped her hair, and the sound it made was totally audible. I had to listen a couple times before I really believed that was her hair! So I flipped mine, and sure enough, it does make a sound when it hits your back. Can't wait for it to get really loud! :D Thunk-length, I love it!

My hair is just past BSL and does a really good satisfying thunk in the shower when it's wet. I'll be very excited to get that sensation when it's dry!

That is great! I love that sound. When I'm wearing a braid, every once in awhile, I'll pull it up and just let it drop. Definitely has a distinct sound and feel to it. Congratulations. :)
