Biolage Gelee is water-based and washes out easily.

I'm not sure if I am the best person to answer this, since although I had a pixie cut, I didn't style it a lot. If it's a bit longer pixie, you could do curls and pin them back so that it looks like a longer updo. Otherwise you could switch the parting to the other side or do a zig-zag parting. At least where I live there are a lot of different types of hair clips and head bands with flowers and feathers on them, which I think look good especially if the hair is short. Or you could just sleek it back or make spikes with the gel and add big earrings. I think a boyish hair cut with feminine accessories or earrings looks great :)
