I've scheduled my first ever head massage for next week and would love any of your thoughts on how I should wear my hair. It reaches my hips. I usually put it up in a simple bun, but I think that would get in the way. Do I just wear it lose?

TIA!

Wear it up in a style you can quickly undo and redo. When you're there, ask the massage therapist what would be easiest for her. Put it back up after. It'll be oily.

Thanks, Selderon. It's always nice to find out that I am on the right track. My go-to updo is the no-stick/clip knotted coil bun that's about as quick and easy as it can be.

Sounds perfect. Let us know how the massage goes! :D

You may want to bring along an elastic or scrunchie just in case you need to put your hair into a braid or loose ponytail for the massage. (I've never had a professional head massage, but it might be inconvenient to have a bun there or loose hip-length hair).

And yes, something to put your hair up afterwards, just like selderon said.
