View Full Version : Does anyone wear a hair net to bed?

Well, usually I wear a scarf to bed but have been contemplating a hair net, just so it's a little cooler. I'm not sure though if any hair ends along the length or at the bottom would get damaged from the edges of the netting throughout. What do you think?

I have a silk cap/bonnet, but it's a little tight near my forehead. I was also wondering about the hair net. I think it would be great, actuallly. I've used a hair net that was a wig cap, it was quite thick and strong, with big holes, it secured my hair very well, only a bit tight. Next time I see a hair net big enough for me, I'll be buying! :)

Are you thinking about something like this (http://cgi.ebay.com/Black-Soft-Rayon-Snood-Hair-Net-Crocheted-Hair-Net-/250450320617?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a50009ce9)? Looks quite confortable, but I wonder if that's secure enough for bed. The one I tried was like these (http://cgi.ebay.com/1pc-FISHNET-STRETCHABLE-ELASTIC-HAIR-NET-SNOOD-WIG-01-/220762216448?pt=US_CSA_MWA_Wigs_Extensions&hash=item3366741800) and way to tight for me.

I have a satin sleep cap which is pretty comfy. It took some getting used to having something on my head at night but my hair will get REALLY tangled without it. I think a net is a good idea if you're hot at night and as long as the elastic is covered in fabric it shouldn't damage hairs that get caught.
