Compliment today - yey!

I was at the gym today and I'd had my hair in a half up so I just put an elastic band at the nape of my neck to keep it out of my way. The instructor said, "gee your hair is the longest it's ever been and it's so lovely and healthy too".

I was actually a bit embarrassed and mumbled "thanks" with eyes cast downward (what's up with that!!!!). The first thing I did think though was that I only get these kinds of compliments when my hair has been straightened (straightened from a girls night out on Sunday - it's wash day today).

But a compliment is a compliment and I'm thrilled to have gotten one.
