Not very fancy...but very easy!~ a simple braided headband

Hi Everyone!

It's been a while since I posted new pictures~ these are not very fancy, but I thought I'd share the idea anyway. I was watching Mission Impossible and saw Lesley Warren do this style that I used to do several years ago...

You just take a small section of hair from the nape of your neck and braid it, then wrap it around like a headband before pinning it underneath. If your hair isn't long enough to wrap completely around, don't worry! Just make two small braids, wrap one up one way and the other up the opposite way, and pin them in place...

Here's a picture of the back~ like I said, not very fancy but really quick if you're in a hurry!

Very pretty, and way less fussy than doing a "real" lace braided headband. I think this will also work well for parted hair that goes into a bun. Perfect for those who can't stand headbands and don't want to do lace braids :)

I've done this before, and always found it much more comfortable than a headband. You can also make a centre part, and braid one on each side and join at the nape. It works if you have short hair too :)
