Hello long hairs ! :)

I was wondering if anyone knows the different , natural ways I could make my hair more brown? My virgin hair colour is golden brown, but I currently have henna + some dye that made my hair auburn. Now I have virgin roots and there isn't a noticeable difference between the auburn and golden brown, but I still want to blend the tones.

Is there anything I could use that won't be damaging or too dark? or should I just let my hair grow out with two tones?

Here is my photo album to give more ideas of my virgin hair colour versus my hair colour now: http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/album.php?albumid=7140

Hmm, I was going to suggest looking into black walnut, but maybe that's not such a good plan (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=5378) as there appear to be a lot of toxicity concerns.

What about a mix of henna and buxus?

I'm going to suggest you read through this thread regarding Logona henna mixes: http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=61696&highlight=Logona Please read all the way through it as there is a discussion about the toxicity level of walnut shells, and links to other threads with information as well. Do some research :).

Henna+indigo (not indigo after henna), but it will have a red tone

I like Henna Hut's "brown" mix.

I think there is a thread on here about using coffee as a natural stain for hair....it is also acidic so will make your hair shiny much like an acv treatment would, and there is some thought that the caffeine may stimulate your scalp :). I would look into this because it is cheap and very easy and you can adjust the colour you want based on the strength/roast of the coffee and the amount of applications. I have heard that instant coffee is not good for this though as it has other things in it to make it instant. If you can't find the thread just google it, lots of stuff comes up. good luck!

I'd say your best bet for pure henna with no metallic salts and great color is Lush Henna (http://www.lushusa.com/shop/products/haircare/henna-hair-dyes/). That way you won't get the red glow that you'd get with henna/indigo alone.
Good luck! :D
