:wail::wail:
I just put my new 60th street fork through the washer! The good news is, the dymondwood is indeed waterproof, but the fork is not spin proof! Its broken :cry:
What can i say, sleep deprivation has a LOT to answer for! shudder:

Oh, I'm so sorry! :(

Thanks for taking one for the team to test the extent of dymondwood's durability, though.

I've put a lot of unfortunate things through the washer, myself, and have no excuse of being sleep deprived -- money, tissues, etc. Funny story, though -- once my dad put his hiking socks covered in burrs through the wash, and the next thing we knew, his socks were growing plants!

Hope that cheers you up a bit. :) :flower:

Ouch; I don't suppose it's just one of the outside prongs so you could potentially refinish it into a fork with one less prong?

Oh that is terrible!! I would just be beside myself. I did wash my daughter's ipod one day if that makes you feel any better. Whoops.

OH NO! :grouphug: That's so sad! Do you think they'd be able to repair it for you? :(
