I LOVE the look and feel of crown braids, but since my hair is still short, I always get this strange lop-sided look...

I really dislike the taper being so visible. Always thicker on one side than the other, and always have a strange empty space in the back where my small tapered tail meets the beginning.

So I came up with this!

All it is is two upside down dutch french braids that cross on the top of my head and then are secured at the bottom(or sides, pending the length of your hair)!
Super easy and I find it feels more balanced on my head.
* be sure to play around with the top placement of the braids a bit or you could end up with a weird bump thing*

Lets see yours!

That is so clever! I can't wait to try it. :cheese: I love crown braids, but my hair is only just starting to cooperate with me on them. This might be more successful!

Woah!! That is a really good idea. And seems a lot less time consuming!
