Hi, has anyone tried using tea or coffee on blond hair. I'm growing out my roots and they are a dark blond color, but most of my hair is bleached blond. Does anyone have personal experience with this. I know I could also use Alder bark. Has anyone tried this? Where do I find it.
Any other ideas?
Thanks!!!

White tea, elder flower tea, or chamomile tea.

White tea, elder flower tea, or chamomile tea.
any of them, I think chamomile lightens hair, so I was thinking black tea to darken

Cassia (senna) tea, rosemary tea (would impart red lowlights), sage tea, or black walnut hull tea would work, and so would black tea. Black chai tea would smell good and add depth of color. If your hair is dry, you might want to try steeping tea in warm oil, then applying it to dry hair. Good luck!

Chamomile cannot lighten hair. It can brighten already blonde hair.
