My hair is super frizzy and I am at my wit's end. I have tried many different products but it's still frizzy. Can anyone recommend products or home remedies or tips to de-frizz?

My hair is frizzy too. I'm gathering the ingredients to try:

Gladtobemom's Frizz Buster Gel http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=6508
and
Kimberlily's defrizz spray http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=277

Have you tried either of them?

The only thing that eliminates frizz for me is a good gel. The stronger the hold, the better.

I echo that :) or aloe vera gel - straight from the plant.

Have you considered the lemon rinse (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=53745&highlight=lemon+frizz)?

Aloe Vera gel mixed with Nightblooming's Panacea!

Got the idea from Gladtobemom's Frizz Buster Gel.

Sounds like we have similar hair, Tropical Breeze! Don't know if it is an option you are interested in, but henna has completely changed my hair. For the first time in my life, my curls are shiny, well defined and frizz free. I've been using it for about 6 months. But, it is permanent and and messy and time consuming and not everyone likes the smell or end color, etc.

I have heard that cassia has similar effects but I've never used it so I can't say for sure. I think Ktani has had good success with her catnip treatments... that's something I've been meaning to try.

First things first -- what is your routine like?

Do you air dry without touching your hair? Do you stay away from combs and brushes? Do you keep your fingers out of your hair?

Frizz is when individual hairs get pulled out of their curl-clump family. Combing, brushing, or finger-combing curly hair is going to give you frizz.

If you want to see my routine, you can see it in this post (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?p=1504647#post1504647). Another thing that helps is oiling or SMTing my hair on a fairly regular basis to keep it from drying out.
