Hair type question.

I'm a bit confused as to what my first classifier is. If I brush my hair when it is wet, it becomes 1a. However, if I just let it dry on its own, it goes to about a 2b. Would I go with 2b seeing as that is just what my hair does on it's own?

Hairtype is usually determined when you let your wet hair air-dry without brushing or combing. Or course there are ways to make it straigther or curlier, but if you really want to know your hairtype wash as you normally do and don't brush/comb as your hair dries. I think the rules are what it looks like without any manipulation. My hair is pretty similar, I can brush out my waves and go to a 1b/c.
