Did my hair just grow an inch in less than a month!?

This is really unusual for me, my hair has never grown this fast before :confused:

It looks a lot longer than before but I can't help but think that maybe it's because of of top, maybe it's up higher than before :P

Growth spurts do happen. I average about 0.67 inch per month but I once grew 1.25 inches (to the best of my memory) in 3 weeks. Other months my hair doesn't seem to grow at all. If you want to know your growth rate, I think you need at least 12 months of data to get a reasonably accurate average.

Hair growth rate isn't constant. The first year I measured I would see half an inch one month and one month was nearly two inches, so I figured my hair grew faster in warm months. but then the next year my hair hardly made a half inch a month all year round, and then I said to heck with monthly measuring. Now that I'm at my goal length I've stopped measuring entirely.

I think she's putting the day first, then the month, then the year. So ... February 10, 2011 to March 1, 2011.

Yup it is longer. Look at the distance from your armpits in the two pictures, your hair goes further past them now. Congrats!

Mine did that too! About a month ago I cut it really short, as you can see in my signature picture, and I've noticed that it's grown SO fast the past month! I'm excited, I hope it continues to grow this fast because I'm trying to reach classic length lol...that'll probably take a while *_*

Your hair does look a little longer. Your top is sitting differently, but I'm comparing the distance between the ends of your hair and the top of your tattoo.

Definately longer, woo hoo! :D I had a surprise this morning too, I trimmed & measured my hair at the beginning of December, then this morning I wanted to measure exactly where TBL & Classic are on me & how far I had to go, so I measured my hair again & it was a full inch longer than 1 month ago :) Winter growth spurts FTW! :toast:
