What is an easy updo for my current length?

What is an easy easy updo I can learn with the length of hair I have now? Or is it too short to do anything other than a ponytail?
I can braid others hair but haven't learned to do my own yet.
Any suggestions would be great.

At that length you can't do any up dos. Might wear a pretty head band.

I could do a gibson tuck at your length. You start with a low ponytail. Loosen the ponytail slightly. Then divide the hair above the hairtie in two sections and pull it to create a pocket. Gradually tuck the ponytail into the pocket, and pin with a bobby pin or two.

Half ups work well at that length, and if you can french braid doing a lace braid on both sides then pinning the ends under the opposit end works well. Left braid under right lace braid, right braid under left laqce braid, it is called a horseshoe braid. Both really easy:
Gibson tuck
half-up cinnamon bun

A little more complicated, but once you know how to braid you can do these too at your length:
french braid
braid tuck
lace braids
half-up braid
half-up braided bun
french braid style crown braid

What about a waterfall braid around your crown? Not really an updo, but it would give you some variety in looks.
