Do I really need them?

There are some clips which have just come into a shop near me, and I really want them! But I'm not sure if I need them. They are just ordinary plastic beak clips, but they are really pretty - sort of a marbled colour - and cheap. I don't currently have any clips like that and have been semi-wanting some for a while.

To buy, or not to buy?

Want? Yes.

If it were me, the deciding factors would be:
-Can I afford it?
-Will I use it?
-Do I REALLY want it?

If the answers to all three of those questions is "yes" then why not?

Do they have teeth? If not, I would say go for it! If they are cheap, then you found a bargain if you like them, and aren't out much if you don't. Anyway, how will you know if they work for your hair if you don't try them? ;)

ETA: if they do have teeth and you still really want them, you can easily sew a piece of felt over the teeth to make them hair safe.

I agree! If you really want them and can afford them - treat yourself. It is always nice in my opinion to have something you can use that is different that you also love.
