I realize a lot of us don't iron our clothing (or just don't like to), but if you like a nice crisp edge on your button-down shirts, then check this out (http://www.realsimple.com/home-organizing/new-uses-for-old-things/favorite-new-uses-00000000019718/page26.html).

Thats actually very clever. Sometimes I use mine to warm things up quickly (socks, gloves) before putting them on and going out to my car in winter.

Brilliantly devised!

Good one! It would also be much safer than using a real iron, if you're wearing the shirt. :)

I keep one at work for touching up lapels and such that aren't laying nicely. I also grab the guys ALL the time before they leave because they never think to tidy up that little bit. Ok, I shouldn't have to fix grown adult males, but ok, they have a lapel that's not laying flat, it's a 2 second fix and they being fashion clueless men have no clue to fix it. Drives me batty!

I started in May. Since then, my boss (who knows to ask me before he leaves the office) has noticed that when I'm around to grab the guys before they leave, their presentations are taken more seriously and they have an easier time with them. Now the new rule? Check with one of us who does the final ok before leaving. Get the lapels and cuffs tidy. Etc....

I will admit, we also use one on our hair from time to time to tame the crazy frizzies. But that's a seperate one that is on low and low only. Not great, we all know. But some days when we have to present in front of state and national level people, we need the touch up.

Haha, I've heard that before. It's SO NICE when you're traveling and you need to freshen up clothes FAST.

Yep! I've been doing that for years. It works great for ironing ribbon too.

They're great for de-potting eyeshadows, too!

This whole thread is mad clever. I'll have to do some of these myself. Especially the sock one, come winter.

I used to do this every day! But now I'm free from office work, heh!
