Question for people with long hair

What is your favorite way to put hair up I like to do a ponytails( seince I cut my hair and I can't do much) but do you like to do?

My go-to style is a lazy wrap bun (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/vbjournal.php?do=article&articleid=72) but I'm also fond of spidermom's bun (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/vbjournal.php?do=article&articleid=123) and chinese buns (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/vbjournal.php?do=article&articleid=15).

ETA: That being said, I love a single centered french braid and hope to do them again once my ends stop being extremely tapered.

I like keeping my hair out of the way and protected, so it's mostly buns for me : )

I love the look of updos with braids (especially rope braids), though I usually just put it up in a simple quick bun, as I don't have too much time in the morning :(

Up until a few weeks ago it was a Nautilus bun, but lately hairsticks have been making my head hurt so I've switched back to my old standby of a single English braid in the back.

My favorite way to put my hair up is in a rose bun. :) It's pretty, and looks way more complicated than it is.

I tend to keep my hair in a pinless indian style bun like this one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrA0V1lsmys) but smaller and tighter as my hair's only tailbone. Nice and easy as it doesn't require pins (even though she uses a fork as an ornament, it's not necessary.

A lace braid across the front, secured with a pretty french barette near the bun, and then a rose bun held with 2 short sticks. I think rose buns are the most beautiful, and secure. They're such a pain though, so it's usually a cinnabun or modify spidermom's bun, with a fork.
