I'm going out to dinner tomorrow night and want to do something fairly fancy with my hair. But what? Help me decide please. :)

Tools I have:
hairsticks, elastics, bobby pins, hair pins.

Accessories I have:
short, decorative hairsticks; pearl-topped hair pins; several small sparkly combs; a few large glittery, feathery flowery jaw clips; ribbons; gem screw pins like these (http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcR-BkzNfAjBhq2tMkq6w_PATilm4H75CSd8i8vA0sKFxpSezQpDCQ&t=1); etc. Loads of sparkly, glittery things that I don't use often enough. :)

It's not a formal dinner, so I don't want to go over the top, but it would be nice to do something a little more fancy than an everyday plain bun.

How about a rose bun? I think those are so pretty :)

I vote for lace braids. Always an elegant look.

If lace braids aren't your thing, then a twisted bun always looks nice.

Just don't overpower the style with bling. Your hair should be the center of attention, not the adornments!

I was running a little late, so didn't have time for braids. I did a rose bun and used a pair of decorative hairsticks in it. Looked good, if I do say so myself. :)
