Shampoos? None. It makes my psoriasis flare up badly.

Conditioner includes Suave and Garnier Frustis Triple nutrition, I use the suave most of the time now and the garnier once a week in a deep treatment.

I use olive oil and coconut oil, not only for my hair but for my scalp as well. the EVOO is for when the coconut oil just isn't doing enough. The oils on my scalp calm my psoriasis and moisturize my hair, as well as causing my curls to clump nearly frizz-less when I CO wash it out.

That, and my wooden comb, are pretty much all I use for my hair in terms of "products".

What is EVVO? and dont you find your hair get very heavy when you have the oil in your scalp too?

I have psoriasis too but only very little in my scalp but got it inside my ears just to torture me and then you have it inside my tighs and going very intimate...
I abselutely hate it and i keep having to go to hospital, none of the creams and stuff i get work ....

I don't have a "got to have" shampoo, but for conditioner I need the cone free Boots Essentials one and Aussie Luscious Long 3MM.
I can take or leave my commercial treatments, but need my castor and coconut oils. Even SMTs aren't essential.
I only use a Tangle Teezer to detangle.

Why? Because after years of trial and error this is the best combination I've hit upon for my hair. :D

Joico chelating shampoo for occasional deep cleansing. (the water quality where I live is problematic, I do think this helps)

For regular use:
Shampoo that's strong enough to cleanse my oily scalp

Conditioner for my length

Creme Rinse for detangling

In recent years I've been using George Michael brand products, but I have also used and liked Biolage's selection of products, and wouldn't really have any objection to going back to something from that line if I had to.

I got some camellia oil this winter, but got distracted with other haircare experiments and forgot to use it. Guess this is as good a time as any to go back to it.

1. Olive and/or Sunflower oil (extra virgin or just regular pure). Lately also coconut oil.
2. White vinegar.
3. Honey.
4. Simplest cone-free conditioner for COing, detangling and leaving in. I've tried three brands already and they all worked equally fine.

I cone filled conditioner for detangling. Garnier Frucis Damage Repair conditioner does the job well. That, a wide toothed comb and a hair scrunchy is all I need.

The most basic:

- Cone free conditioner (for CO washing)
- Extra vierge coconut oil (as a leave-in, detangler and deep treatment)
- Seamless plastic wide tooth comb (for detangling)
- Shower cap (for CO and deep treatments)

Very useful:

- Clarifying shampoo (to remove CO/mineral build-up)
- Honey (for SMT)
- Aloe vera gel (for SMT)
- Apple cider vinegar (for rinses)
- Wool hat/beanie (added heat for deep treatments)

And there's some other stuff I use sometimes (but easy could do without) beer for rinses, other carrier oils and EO's.

1. Body Shop Wooden comb for detangling - I wasn't too keen on this at first but now I don't know how I managed with out it!
2. Coconut oil - My hair just laps the stuff up! I use it on my damp hair.
3.Aussie shampoo and conditioner for CWC
4. Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment - Use this as a deeptreatment, makes my hair so soft and shiny. Not noticed that much growth from it though
5. Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor - I also use this as deep treatment, makes my hair super soft.

:)

Must have:

* Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose Shampoo and Conditioner
* Madora wide-tooth comb (I adore my Madora!)
* Kimberlilly's De-Frizz Spray (the only thing that helps me beat static and frizzies)
* Turbie Twist or similar towel wrap
* My hair toys (couldn't live without 'em, since I wear my hair in a bun daily)
