My One Year Anniversary! (Pic)

Hello Everyone!
It is my One Year Anniversary! A year ago I had my BSL length hair cut to Chin length, due to a bad experience with letting a friend try to trim my hair. Since then I have not had any major cuts, just 2 micro-trims. I have decided to let my hair grow out to Waist.

I am not very social on this site, but I have learned so much from everyone. It gives me great motivation to grow! I now CWC and use oils such as jojoba, coconut and olive oil. I stay away from heat styling, but allow it only on special occasions.

This one year of growing out my chin length hair to APL has been extremely difficult. I am used to BSL length or longer which is easily maintainable for me. I have created so much breakage in my hair this year it is unbelievable, but it has stopped because I have adjusted my routine.

In the pictures below, I had my hair straightened. My hair is naturally wavy. My natural hair color is golden brown, but I dyed it Black with Elumen which is a non-damaging formula I purchased online.Well that is all!

That's a lot of growth for a year i finds it easier onwards from APL you should be-able to wear it up if you want to do that and it looks lovely and shiny.

Yes I am excited for updos and hair toys, but that is going to take some research and learning. I don't know anything more than just pulling my hair back, twisting it, and pinning it with a clip. Maybe this new year of growing will be a little more exciting!
