Hi Friends ..please let me know ehich leave in has worked best for u to enhance waves, defrizz, not flake like a powder, and to transform ur tresses into silk....something natural ll always be preferred. Actually I am using Phyto 9 right now...its pretty expensive, transforms my hair into silk smoothness...but does nothing for waves ....:o

Aloe gel and coconut oil. The coconut oil is great for smoothness and softness, the aloe helps with frizz and holding the waves.

My favorite is Curly Brunette's "Shea It Ain't So" leave-in, available at naturallycurly.com. Whether I use it and then wet bun or I use it and let my hair dry naturally it just rocks.

My best technique/product combination is to squirt my hair with a mixture of two drops jojoba oil/10 drops of Burt's Bees Shiney Grapefruit Conditioner in a spray bottle of 1 cup distilled water. I spray my hair every so often during the day, flip my head over and shake it like a dog, and then let it air dry. Brings out silky, shiney wavies.
I've never found a commercial spray leave in that I like better.

Either straight shea butter or Fox's Shea Butter Conditioning Cream.

I like either BWC leave-in mixed with distilled water and a bit of avocado oil or without the oil. Sometimes I also use Biolage condtioning balm and water and a few drops of oil.

My favorite is a homemade gel recipe (http://archive.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=66866&highlight=hair+gel) I found on the old boards. I love it.

This is my favourite leave-in too!
Also in the form of a spray (Kimberlily's Defrizz Spray, the recipe is somewhere around...) when added to water :agree:
ETA: here's (http://http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=277&highlight=defrizz)the thread about Kimberlily's Defrizz Spray; I use coconut oil instead of jojoba and I don't put in any glycerine

Doesn't the coconut oil clog it up? I thought about using it, but instead made a spray of water, conditioner with coconut oil, and the AVG because I was afraid of this happening.

I have fractionated coconut oil so that's liquid at all times :)
Now that you mention it, after I run out of this oil, I'll probably use the "solid" white coconut oil so that may prove to be a problem...

I do, I do!!!! I have a conditioner from a company called Alaffia. You can get it online or at Whole foods. They have an enriching shea butter/coconut oil conditioner that's actually a leave in lotion, that I use as a leave in, rinse out, CO wash, and have even made a leave in spray from it! Unless I'm not going anywhere I don't use it straight as a leave it, I use the spray. My hair is fine and gets weighed down easily. But the enriching is made for curly hair and it REALLY enhanced my wurls!
I also like and use shea butter, as well as AO's sea buckthorn leave in/curl enhancing spray. :D
eta that a big bonus with the alaffia is that it has Rooibos tea in it which encourages hair growth!

My recipe for a leave in conditioner that my hair loves is as follows:
Equal parts of Ojon treatment, emu oil, andiroba oil, coconut oil, and camellia oil. I only need a tiny bit on my finger tip. I apply it once a day (when I remember!) or as needed.

I'm using Fructis Triple Nutrition as a leave-in instead of wash-out and am very happy with the results.
