http://i.imgur.com/rOyNk.jpgI feel bad, but I think my hair has reached it's limit. It has been this length for the last four months or so. I was hoping to grow it to waist but oh well!

I hovered at that exact length for a year. four months? don't worry about it.

Been stuck at 30" for three months. Winter time, I guess?

I was stalled at 26" for four months almost last year. I freaked out for a little bit, but when I relaxed and forgot about it my hair grew again. :)

Your hair doesn't look tapered enough at the ends to be terminal length. Nowhere close actually. It's probably just that the longest hairs are reaching the end of their growth phase at the same time ... pretty soon the shorter hairs will grow past them.
It's so pretty and shiny and I love the color!

Your hair looks really lovely! It doesn't look like it's reached "terminal," like jaine said...isn't hair growth supposed to plateau every so often?

I agree with what is said before, your hair looks great and healty.

Thank you so much everyone I feel much better! And thank you for the kind compliments! I didn't know about the tapering, that helps.

Yeah, don't worry, it's probably just a hiccup. Keep up the great work, your hair is beautiful!
What are your favourite hair care secrets, and which is the one that you feel has helped you the most?

What a gorgeous hair you have, and I agree with the others your ends are not thinned out at all, there's a huge potential for growth :flower:

My hair has just done this. I have ben stuck at the same length for ages. I am hoping it will pick up soon and get on with growing. x

wow, your hair is beautiful! Such shine, lovely waves/curls!
I would honestly not worry, since it looks SO lovely, healthy etc. I know there is often a kind of race for great lengths, here, but since my hair doesn't seem to grow much past BSL, I am learning to appreciate quality over quantity, so to speak.
Your hair reminds me of a favorite wig I had - my dream hair is thick, black, wavy, and shiny - but yours is better because it's REAL!

An awful lot of us stalled around that length. It's frustrating but theres not really much you can do. In time it will almost certainly pick up pace and get back to normal growing. It's just having a little rest :p

Hang in there. I thought my hair length was at its limit too, after about 6 months of measuring and taking monthly length shots. I just couldn't see any growth. However, when time rolled on and I was able to compare photos that were a year apart, I could see that my hair was growing and gaining length.

I vote it's just a growth stall. My hair growth has slowed down a lot in the last four months. Sometimes I feel like it isn't growing. I wouldn't worry about this if I were you. Give it a while and see if you don't see more growth. :)

Your´re hair looks awesome, so shiny and I love your color. I think because you have curly hair, the length doesen´t show much. I believe you should just wait, you´re hair will grow sooner or later.
My hair doesen´t grow at summertimes, it stays in some length months. And at winter, it grows 2-4 cm per month.

I believe it's just growth stall too, your hair looks great :)

Lovely hair. Put it up, forget it and take it down in October. I promise you that your hair will yet surprise you!
I have a stall at the moment, too. Your body may be busy with something else than growing hair. Eat well, drink your water, sleep enough, go outside and love your life. That should do the trick ;-)

Don't worry, your hair will start growing again as soon as the spring will be near to come!

I tend to stall out at all major points  BSL, Waist, TB, Classic, Knee...
Sometimes for many, many months...
Don't worry about it.
Just keep treating your hair well and putting it up! You're at a stage where wearing it down it starts to rub more on things like the backs of chairs, so it might falter a bit. :)

Hey, hey, just don't give up:) All in all accepting it calmly is better than feeling depressed but... don't be that sure it won't grow! :) Stalls happen. Sometimes without any logical reason like season, stress, food etc. Try scalp massages if you like it or just wait and observe, but don't leave the hope! :)

I didn't know hair could stall...o.O But after a little research I must agree with jaine.

Well, it has been rather chilly here much of the time since early December (2+ months). Maybe it's had an effect? I've noticed my scalp is putting out oil at a slower rate.
In any case I say don't give up. It might surprise you and resume getting longer. :)

Definitely not tapered enough for terminal. Here's to hoping your stall ends soon. :flower:

I agree with everything already said. Your hair looks extremely healthy and your ends still look very full. Not to worry - looks like you've still got a long journey of hair growth ahead of you!!

JC- your hair sure is beautiful. I wouldn't worry about a thing. Even if it stayed where it is, it is so shiny and healthy. But I bet you will reach your goal length....

I think your hair has the potential to grow a lot more :) This past year, my hair grew more slowly in the summer than in the winter. It's not always predictable, and will usually even out over time.
You've got lovely hair :blossom: Looks super healthy!

Your hair is absolutely beautiful. If it grows some more, then great, but honestly, if it never grows another inch, who cares? It is simply perfect already.

My hair has stayed at a tailbone-to-classic length for quite a long time, and at this length (I'm classic now) hair grows so much slowlier than at yours, so don't worry. It's normal to have plateau periods. I'll bet it'll growing again in no time :)

I'm sure it's just a stall, like everybody else says. :) Your hair looks too full to be terminal!
And your hair looks absolutely stunning, and shiny!!! :D

I agree with the others, your hair is probably just going through the resting phase. As long as you are not losing any hair, espically at the root, I think you are fine. Your hair is very beautiful.
