Hello all :)

I love mermaids and recently watched a few mermaid movies. Now, I really want to achieve those long, "undulating" waves that some mermaids are depicted as having.

My natural wave is really loose, so I want something more defined.

How can I create these waves without heat or braiding?

(Braid waves on me just look really POOFY because my hair is naturally fluffy anyway.)

Here are some photos of the style:

You could try this: deep waves/snake waves (http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/vbjournal.php?do=article&articleid=82).
Good luck! :D

Hmm! That tutorial looks great, Roscata. Thank you! I just don't have any fabric like that to do it. :( Maybe I can find an old shirt or something that I don't use anymore and cut it into strips..
