Hello all.
It's been a bit of a saga, my hair that is since I joined here. I joined August '09, where I was brushing APL, decided to chop my dye out Feb '10 after growing it out for about 8 months, so I think its fair I count this month as my true anniversary.
Here is a picture from before the chop, with the dye left in:

It's not easy to tell, but it is quite damaged from a holiday in Egypt (of all places!) that summer. A combination of dry, burnt out, over straightened, chlorine-d mess is what drove me here in the first place and I couldn't be more thankful.
Here I am post-chop:

My hairdresser at the time used a razor to cut my dyed hair out, and it really shows. It looks ratty, damaged and frizzy, though I have to say, it was nice to have a fresh start with my natural colour.
The layers were horrible, and as a result, I have trimmed quite frequently this year to even my hair out, and thicken my hem up.
And here I am today:

A much better hair start to the year, and still all natural! A year is the longest time I haven't dyed my hair since I started, and the first time in 6 years it has been all natural. So thank you, LHC and my fellow super-shorties.
:cheese:
