I have been looming over the LUSH website for a long time now trying to decide if I want to invest in any of their hair products.

I'm just wondering what people have had success or failure with to give me a better idea.

When it comes to hair care from Lush

I like:
curly wurly, rehab, godiva (don't like the smell on that one), trichomania, gentil lentil
okra, american cream (tricky works for c/o and as a treatment when left on really long mixed with other stuff)
H'Suan Wen Hua, R&B
King of Mods

Don't like:
Cynthia Sylvia Stout, Daddyo, Ice Blue Shampoo
NEW!, Reincarnate, Ultimate Shine, Jungle

All the stuff, that I don't like leaves my hair too dry, tangled and what's the opposite of shiny?
Do you want to hear about the non-hair products too?

I tried the retreat conditioner (triple strength one) and it was AMAZING. So expensive though.. >_>

I've used Karma Komba shampoo for... goodness, at least eight years, it must be.

I've tried a number of different conditioners but Jungle is probably my lasting favourite - and I find it very economical, too.

I just splurged on a few products: Rehab shampoo, Retread conditioner, and R&B moisturizer. The Rehab shampoo is great, though I was surprised that it got my hair literally "squeaky clean." (Maybe that's not bad, it's just not what I'm used to.) Retread seems good, but the smell is kinda mossy and not to my liking. I use the R&B moisturizer as a leave-in conditioner and it gives a lot of shine.

I use the R&B as a leave-in and I love it! It leaves my hair soft and silky; it even has some hold when I scrunch it in.

I have been using the 'New' shampoo bar, but mainly because it is supposed to stimulate ones scalp and therefore increase growth. That is what I have been telling myself anyhow. In the past I have used 'Karma Komba' which I LOVE! :)

Love: Cynthia (hooray, finally a shampoo that I'm not allergic to - my skin & hair don't mind SAS rather than SLS)
American Cream conditioner - makes my hair so shiny and smooth
Coolaulin (though this is getting disconned soon, sad)
H'Suan Wen Hua (smells delicious and hair loves it)
Hair Doctor (great for my scalp - very flakey)

Not a huge fan:
Soak and float - I just can't get past the smell
R&B makes me want to be ill with the smell...UGH JASMINE, and not even a nice jasmine! DBF and his sister agree entirely, and have discovered this quite independently of me.
Jungle - smell gives me a headache
their putting SLS in every single solid bar - seriously, would it kill them to make an SLS free shampoo bar? Really?

I'm a lush devotee for pretty much everything from head to toe now. Dream Cream is a lifesaver with my crazy skin, turkish delight is delicious in the shower, their hair stuff is a given, celestial for my face, all the bath bombs (especially tisty tosty, avobath, big blue, dragon's egg and twilight) and hand creams and foot creams and... :D

I've only tried Jumping Juniper and Squeaky Green. I prefer the Jumping Juniper, I hate all the little herby bits in the Squeaky Green.

FYI, gentle lentil is currently listed on their US website. Perhaps it was brought back?

Oh, really? The smell was fine to me. Nothing fantastic, but it was alright.

I've heard great things about the Karma perfume too. I'm definitely going to try that soon!

I got the trichomania bar and I quite like it. The smell is really nice, but not overwhelming. It does crumple easily, so usually I break off a little bit to wash with and keep the rest in the wrapper in my bed room (to keep it dry).

Forgot to mention too, that my boyfriend's hair likes retread if he's washing with shampoo (normally cynthia) but absolutely adores curly wurly. He says the coconut gets caught in his chest hair :P He's got that lovely thick, curly Greek hair and I'm envious!
