I think this weekend I will go get my hair cut real short and take the hair to the place where I will get a wig to match the color. I figured this would give me a couple of weeks to get use to having short hair before it is all gone. I told my son I was going to get either a hot pink or a purple wig... he almost had a cow! LOL:cheese:

Best of luck to you during your treatment process. I have a friend who cut her hair very short then eventually buzzed it. Her hair is growing out now, but she was a baldie for awhile. I like the idea of a purple wig. My friend had a great wig, but ended up going without one most of the time.

Good luck with your treatment. My mum had chemo and it didnt affect her hair at all.

Forwigs I would check out Ebay it has some great styles that start of really cheap even for real hair.

You might also like to look for wig care on You Tube as there are a lot of information discussed.

If you dont want to wear a wig all the time, then may I suggest some nice fleece caps/hats and some cotton scarves. You may like to get a special one for bed, as you head can get cold while you sleep.

If you not sure if they will irritate then place them against the back of your hand to see, it always works for me).

Best wishes to your treatment being a total success.
And dying your hair a bright colour would be fun, if only to embarass your son.
Hope all goes well for you and to a speedy recovery.

All the best to you during your treatment and recovery. If I was going to need a wig, I think hot pink would be a lot of fun. Go for it, if that's what you want! It never hurts to shock our kids a little, right? ;)
