View Full Version : U-shape hemline? Trim tomorrow!

January 28th, 2011, 12:02 PM
Ok, so the day has finally come.
Tomorrow I have an appointment with my hairdresser for the first time since September 2008!
Im really looking forward to have fresh healthy ends, since they have so many splits and white dots.
But Im also really nervous about it.
I have always had a blunt hemline but I really do think that a u-shape hemline is very flattering as well, and I think I am going for it.
But I need some inspiration. Do you have u-shape hemline, please show me!
I promise to show you pics tomorrow after the trim.

this is a picture of my hemline, it is Uish. (don't mind the red lines)
I think both an U shaped and a blunt hemline could look really nice.
the best way to know is to actually cut it that way.
it is not such a big change, and you won't have to loose much length for it :)
I am curious witch one you will choose ^^

Gorgeous, Isje. I love u-shaped hemlines because they have the balance of keeping the ends looking thick and healthy, and I find the curvature more pleasing to the eye than a blunt hemline. Good luck, kelly-j!

I have U-shape though my goal is straight across I think, as well as blunt cut vs the layers I have now. My hair is 29" in this picture, with about 4-5" of layers.
