This one will take you to a thread about a method of wrapping your hair around your head as it dries to straighten it out:

As far as regenerating, do you want to grow faster? or try to help what you already have?

Welcome to the boards! :)

For natural straightening, try a doobie. You can find more information on this thread: http://www.longhaircommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57807

I'm not sure what you mean by 'regenerate'. Once a hair leaves the follicle (where it grows from in the scalp) any damage to it cannot be mended. You simply have to balance damage with benefit (e.g.: wearing it loose often causes more damage than wearing it bunned, but for some people the benefit of wearing it loose outweighs the damage, as they feel ugly with it up).
Or did you want tips for how to reduce damage? Or how to grow healthier hair?

Here are two good articles for newbies:

You can find lots of useful articles here: http://www.longhaircommunity.com/forums/vbjournal.php

As for growing healthy hair, your best bet is to simply be healthy. Eat a healthy, balanced diet; ensure you get enough protein, vitamins and minerals; exercise. Supplements may help, but they are not a miracle - the best bet is to simply be healthy. ^_^

Hello and welcome! LHC is a great place for natural hair care (and has many people for whom english is a second language).

Another useful article: http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/vbjournal.php?do=article&articleid=10

This article details the different abbreviations which are used commonly here. Good luck with your hair journey!
