Any natural way to add more volume to roots?

My bangs are long, they fall a little past my chin and weigh down flatly. Is there any way
I can give them a "lift" naturally, without hairspray?

Someone just mentioned that she sleeps in a braid started at the top of her head (so it goes over her pillow and she isn't lying on it) and that it gives a nice volume boost. Maybe you could try it, including your bangs in the braid? Perhaps dampening the bangs a bit before putting them up for the night?

I dry mine with my parting on the opposite side to normal when I want a bit of crown volume - then when it is dry just flick it over to its usual place, this adds some lift a the front
